Damn. Your art is getting really good.

That's a very challenging composition. The foreshortening is good, the clothing motion and folding is good, the energy and feeling to the piece is good and you picked a very ornate character.

*awe*

That can certainly happen with some pieces I've seen artist do. I like your color schemes though, usually.

Thanks for the assurance. Neptune's tricky to draw. I often get confused about how she really is. Her attitude and body language almost lingers to how men behave. She's playful and serious at the same time. What else can I say about this character?

Character and motive are a major part of art. If you're already thinking about that, you're in the top tier. This is what I mean about your art having feeling behind it.

When thinking about a character's behavior, think about what motivates them to act that way. What need are they fulfilling for themselves?  Is Nep playful because she's afraid of people taking her too seriously? Or does she act playful when she's at ease, when she feels like she can relax?  The same behavior can have very different motives.

Not to mention a character's behavior can change drastically if put under stress, revealing deeper layers of their hearts.
